What you’ll do:
- Prepare and review Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, wage index adjustments, and other reimbursement analyses.
- Conduct quarterly settlement estimates and update models to reflect regulation changes.
- Analyze the impact of cost report adjustments and recommend opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate on provider-based attestations, GME/IME data reviews, and organ acquisition cost analyses.
- Research and apply Medicare/Medicaid laws to ensure compliance and accuracy.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- At least 7 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement.
- In-depth knowledge of cost reporting, payment methodologies, and wage index optimization.
- Strong analytical and research skills to navigate complex regulations.
