N4 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Budget Analyst to support our customer the National Institute on Drug Abuse. In this role the ideal candidate will support the Financial Management Branch in a number of duties including formulation, execution, and reporting. In this role the ideal candidate will assist annual budget preparation and reconciliation, funds tracking, and auditing. This position is contingent upon passing a government suitability test.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Performs routine budget execution functions for assigned budget area and monitors, reviews, and reconciles information relating to commitments, obligations, expenditures, and reimbursement orders
- Reviews obligating documents in the accounting system for accuracy and prepares reports
- Performs analysis of financial and accounting records to determine financial resources for budget allocations
- Monitor and analyze funding plans and organization spending projections
- Work with budget analysts in preparing the end of year reporting
- Provide budgetary and financial management services
- Monitor and analyze funding plans and organization spending projections, prepare justifications as needed
- Maintains and updates databases, monitors, and verifies accuracy of data, and identifies errors and performance corrections
- Develops fiscal spreadsheets for tracking budgets and provides summaries for evaluation of spending patterns, comparative projections and spending plans
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management and administration, business economics, or general business
- Experience with standard account forms (profit loss, balance sheets, etc.)
- Knowledge of ADA policies and guidelines
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with account reconciliation, fiscal year closeout, data analytics, and auditing
- Working knowledge using SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and Financial and/or accounting systems
- U.S. Citizenship required
