N4 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Scientific Policy Analyst to provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). This position is contingent upon passing a government suitability test.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyzes complex scientific variables used to prepare various reports that impact the planning and outcome of the research program
- Perform research and analyses in support of strategic planning, program planning, and reporting activities
- Advises management about public policy issues and provides recommendations for the appropriate action
- Attends various staff and scientific meetings providing reports as requested
- Provides expert guidance to management about public policy issues and provides recommendations for appropriate action
- Coordinates the daily workload of junior staff
- Plans and presents meetings regarding current and new initiatives
- Research and prepare responses to ad-hoc or recurring inquiries
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Governmental Affairs or Public Policy
- Superior experience with MS Office (i.e. Word and Excel)
- Experience with portfolio analysis and strategic planning
- Strong writing skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- U.S. Citizenship
