Deltek Costpoint Technical Support Analyst

Overview

Na Aliʻi and the Nakupuna Companies is seeking a professional with in-depth expertise in Deltek Costpoint, specifically in the Accounting, People, Contracts, Projects, Time & Expense (T&E) modules, and Cognos/Business Intelligence reporting. This role will support the effective use of the Deltek Costpoint system, enhance our operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.  Support provided will include (but is not limited to) module functionality, utilization efficiency and Cognos/BI reporting.  The position is full-time. 

Responsibilities

• Provide Costpoint technical and functional expertise and serve as a subject matter expert for Costpoint 
• Provide expert guidance on Deltek Costpoint functionalities, specifically in the Accounting, People, Projects, Contracts, and T&E modules 
• Using Cognos/Business Intelligence to build custom reports for supporting business processes.  Develop and implement procedures to ensure the quality, usability, and accuracy of reports 
• Assist in the configuration and optimization of the Deltek Costpoint system to meet business needs 
• Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices and new features of Deltek Costpoint. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance user experience 
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues and inquiries related to the Deltek Costpoint system. 
• Stay updated on Deltek Costpoint enhancements, industry trends, and regulatory changes that may impact system use 
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and training materials. 
• Support audits and compliance efforts related to Deltek Costpoint usage and data integrity 
• Technical lead for Costpoint upgrades and issue resolution. Submit Deltek support tickets and collaborate with Deltek representatives to identify and implement appropriate bug fixes, patches, and software updates 

Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications: 

• Thorough understanding of Costpoint’s architecture and highly proficient with Deltek’s Costpoint’s core modules - Accounting, People, Capture & Contracts, Projects, T&E, and Reports & Analytics modules 
• Robust experience with Cognos/Business Intelligence reporting.  
• Deltek Costpoint certifications a plus 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users at all levels 
• Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and compliance requirements is preferred 
• Collaborates effectively with co-workers to provide high quality outcomes and maintains high standards for professional conduct 
• Solid judgment and decision-making ability 
• Strong customer service orientation; be able to maintain a professional demeanor, and work independently under pressure to handle critical issues in timely manner 

Education and Experience:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field preferred. 
• Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Deltek Costpoint, with a strong focus on Accounting, Projects, People, Contracts, T&E, and Reports & Analytics modules preferred. 

Clearance: Not required but must be able to obtain security clearance, if requested. Must be a U.S. citizen. 

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 (annualized USD). The good faith salary range displayed represents the position at time of posting and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
