Leoda's Kitchen and Pie Shop offers what we like to call glorified grandma food! Open 7 days a week and located in Olowalu, Maui, we take a unique approach to many classic or traditional favorites. The ideal candidate for this position :
- Has experience working in customer service and / or the food service industry
- Can work a flexible schedule and be available for on call
- Has exceptional customer service skills
- Is enthusiastic about leaning and sharing our organizational culture
- Can maintain a pleasant smile and demeanor throughout the shift displaying patience, tolerance, acceptance and care towards customers and coworkers
- Has the ability to ensure that customer's receive items precisely as they ordered
- Can handle multiple tasks at one time, especially under pressure; greeting new patrons, taking orders, answering phone, payment transactions, delivering orders, maintain a well organized and clean work environment. All while remaining enthusiastic and pleasant
- Is competent with computers / POS systems. Has previous cash handling experience
- Is able to learn and retain new food knowledge
- Communicates Aloha enthusiastically and clearly in person and over the phone
- Has ability to make suggestions and recommendations from our menu to increase sales and productivity
- Have strong troubleshooting skills. Flexibility to future change as needed
- Is able to transition to new ideas, concepts, policies and procedures as needed
- Is able to pass and practice the Maui County Department of Liquor Test
- Is able to pass and practice the TiPS training course
