Job Title: IT Help Desk Supervisor SME

Location: Lompoc, CA

Introduction:

Rivet Operations Company LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Tier 1 24/7 Support Team Specialist SME position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

Duties:

As a Tier 1 24/7 Support Team Specialist SME you will establish and maintain a 24/7 NOC at VSFB. In addition, maintaining Government provided procedures, training, call trees, and other product support material as needed. Where necessary, coordinate and build call tree procedures, troubleshooting procedures, and training products to support the 24/7 NOC operations. This includes modifications in support of added applications and/or systems program excellence, manage risks, and ensure the successful delivery of program goals.

These include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and build call tree procedures, troubleshooting procedures, and training products to support the 24/7 OS operations, deliver to the Government, and maintain configuration control of these documents, including modifications to support added or changed functionality, applications, networks, and/or Space C2 or Kobayashi Maru systems
  • Coordinate with platform, data, and application teams to modify monitoring / operational dashboards as needed to support the Contractor’s ability to efficiently run through troubleshooting procedures. This includes modifications in support of added applications and/or systems
  • Develop a consolidated training plan for 24/7 NOC team member certification
  • Develop and implement 24/7 NOC crew facility layout in coordination with 18 SDS, Space C2 platform teams, and other Contractor-identified units. Note: The SPO anticipates the 24/7 support team will sit on the TS/SCI operational floor in VSFB Building 8401
  • A minimum of 50% of crew strength must be maintained as bench strength in the event of incapacitation
  • The Contractor shall develop and implement 24/7 OS crew facility layout in coordination with 18 SDS, Space C2, KM platform teams, and other Contractor-identified units. Note: The SPO anticipates the 24/7 Help Desk support will sit on the 18th SDS’ TS/SCI ops floor in Building 8401, VSFB, CA. Additionally, the Government anticipates up to four administrative workspaces will be in Suite 96, Bldg 8401, VSFB, CA for use by the Contractor in performance of this contract

Compensation Minimum: $120,084.00

Compensation Maximum: $130,847.00

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Initiative-taker requiring minimal supervision.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , CompTIA Security or ITIL (preferred)
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II
  • 10 years’ experience in IT services contract with similar workload and complexity

Security Clearance:

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Lifting to 40 lbs.
