Rivet has multiple opportunities on our growing Marine Corps Systems Command professional support services team spanning program and acquisition management, logistics, finance, contracts, engineering, IT, data, and other DoD acquisition command professional service requirements.
Duties:
Under the direction of the Senior Comms Specialist, the Mid Technical Writer provide professional technical editing and writing support including copy editing and proofreading to enhance communications. Use established templates or design document layouts to assist project/program managers with the preparation of official documents (e.g. acquisition planning documents, briefings, information papers, correspondence, standard operating procedures).
Compensation Minimum: $87,300.00
Compensation Maximum: $110,700.00

Experience:
- Four years of DoD professional technical editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to initiate plans, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook).
Education or Certification:
- High School Diploma
Security:
- Requires the applicant to pass the security clearance requirement for the position. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
