Space Communications Demonstration Coordinator

Skills / Experience Required

Space Communications Demonstration Coordinator Skills/Experience needed:

• Current or the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance, desired
• 5 years working as a Test and Demonstration Coordinator
• Knowledge of and experience with Smartsheet applications
• 5 years of Field Demo Execution, experience with space communication and terminals preferred
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively work as a member of larger dynamic teams
• Must be willing and able to work inside Amazon facilities
• The Demonstration Coordinator is responsible for the following:
• Managing demo requests on Smart Sheets application
• Managing demo Coordination Smart Sheets tool, oversee intake, planning, and status tracking of Kuiper network Customer Terminal Demonstrations
• Ensuring data entry integrity, accurate scheduling, and real-time status updates
• Responsibilities include cross-functional coordination:
• Collaborate with Product Management, Program Management, Engineering, and other relevant teams
• Establish prerequisites and approval processes for go/no-go decisions on demonstration executions
• Update the Smart Sheets application with the approval status for each demonstration
• Responsibilities include field demo execution:
• Facilitate on-site demonstrations of Kuiper Terminals with associated baseband equipment
• Travel to various sites within CONUS (Continental United States)
• Demonstrate familiarity with military baseband telecommunication equipment setup and operation

Demonstration Coordinator Education/Certifications

• High School Diploma, required
• Bachelor’s degree, desired

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
