VOIP and SVOIP Technician L1

Skills / Experience Required

• Secret Clearance
• 3 years of experience performing VOIP and SVOIP Technician functions
• Will provide technical support in the installation, maintenance, and support of secure and non-secure VoIP services
• Support includes installation, relocations, and repair of IP Telephony (IPT) desktop instruments as well as servers, network switches, Nortel (Avaya) Switch, and other devices associated with both the provisioning of IPT and the network delivery of those services
• Delivery includes successful installation and maintenance support of voice services and documentation as required by local policy

Education / Certifications

• Must possess and maintain an IAT I level certification

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
