Asset Servicing - Vice President, Data Science Project Lead

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Data Science Project Lead to join our Asset Servicing team. This role is open to location in either Pittsburgh PA, Lake Mary FL, or New York, NY– Hybrid (3 days in office).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Manage portfolio of Data Science projects
• Bridge the gap between the technical function of data science and the operational function, by driving project for key business outcomes, building reports and presenting to key stakeholders at all levels while exhibiting a strong understanding of business
• Develop consultative relationships with key stakeholders and internal teams, to obtain subject knowledge needed to support advanced analytics by conducting studies that provide additional facts needed to make informed decisions regarding organizational and functional effectiveness
• Foster collaboration to integrate Machine Learning and predicative analytics into core business processes
• Extracts business insights to guide direction of learning activities and drive organizational efficiencies, effectiveness and outcomes.
• Stay abreast of technological innovations and trends and identifies areas of improvement across BNY and externally to academic and vendor relationships, and maintains knowledge of company's total computing environment and planned changes to develop meaningful data science products
  
  

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent working experience
• 4-6 Years experience in Data Science/Analysis
• Experience in Asset Servicing or Financial services would be advantageous
• Advanced understanding of machine learning and predictive modelling strategies that enhance business decision making, and client experience
• People Leadership experience is a plus

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $93,000 and $158,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
