Essential Job Functions:
- Extensive knowledge of our food and beverage menus
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Assist Bartender with drink garnishes as necessary
- Clean and maintain sanitation standards for bar area and equipment
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations and safe food handling
- Anticipate guests needs and execute requests
- Complete assigned daily side work
- Handle cash, process credit cards, and balance cash drawer
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have good positive energy throughout the entire shift
- Works efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude and body language to deliver great guest service at all times
- Check all orders prior to serving to ensure accuracy, proper presentation and verify that all special requests have been met. Prompt delivery of all orders to appropriate sections and tables
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 1 year cocktail experience required
- Must have current SNHD health card, alcohol awareness card and necessary work cards
- Tiki Bar experience is Preferred
- Requires knowledge of menu and ingredients for allergy purposes
- Ability to operate Point of Sale system (Aloha)
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess in-depth knowledge of all retail merchandise (where applicable)
- Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Serves all alcoholic beverages in accordance with all state regulations and responsible service/alcohol awareness training standards
- Accurately enter all orders into the POS system and follows proper cash/payment card procedures
- Comply with all safety and health department procedures as well as Company and/or departmental policies/procedures
- As a MODEL Server, must maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards.
- Uniforms will be provided and must be worn according to standard, every shift.
- Walking and standing for the entire shift. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and filing tasks, for extended periods of time
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space
- Must be able to push, carry, lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Requires standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise and crowds
- Must be able to work late nights, holidays, weekends.
