Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen while supporting our culinary staff. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations.

Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that it is organized at all times.
- Assist with the cleaning of kitchen equipment and surfaces to uphold health and safety standards.
- Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Dispose of waste properly and assist with recycling efforts as needed.
- Help with basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff when not washing dishes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods.

Skills
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or catering is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to culinary operations.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed in a busy kitchen setting.
