Position Summary:
As a PRN Customer Service Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience at our hospital. This position is responsible for facilitating an efficient and timely admissions process during weekend shifts, advocating for patients, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Essential Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and courtesy.

Answer phones promptly, direct calls appropriately, and always identify yourself when answering.

Coordinate the admissions process to ensure timely and efficient patient flow.

Assist patients and families with navigating services, including arranging escorts.

Address and de-escalate difficult situations calmly and effectively.

Communicate and collaborate with internal departments to enhance the patient experience.

Support weekend departmental coverage, including during staff breaks or absences.

Maintain a clean and organized admissions area.

Demonstrate a consistent commitment to customer service excellence.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support the hospital's mission and operations.
Minimum Requirements:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Required: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
