Position Purpose
Provides medical receptionist duties to answering phone calls, greeting patients, patient appointment scheduling and reminder, patient registration, verifying insurance and benefits, verifying co-pays, deductibles, collecting, posting payments received, and ensuring all information is correct and inputted in patients chart timely and accurately.

Position Purpose

Summary Of Duties (not All Inclusive)
- Answer all telephone calls, greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
- Professionally assist doctors, staffs, visitors, and patients always provide excellence in customer service. Front office staff is the “face” of the practice and the first employees that patients encounter at their visit.
- Confirm appointments; confirm the patient will show according to schedule and remind patients of their appointments for returning for regular care, let them know when it’s time to reschedule.
- Locates patient records, initiates new chart documentation for the current visit, registers patient in the computer and see the patient and family are kept informed in the waiting room.
