What You’ll Do:
Under the supervision of the Technical Services and Grants Department Associate Directors, the Senior Project Analyst gathers, interprets and analyzes engineering, environmental, socio-economic and other data by using advanced analytical techniques and methodologies. Responsible for department process sub-tasks, such as drafting scopes of work, researching specific environmental topics, and/or coordinating specialized tasks such as TA activities. Frequently assists project management staff and director with special assignments, strategic initiatives, complete project-related tasks, or assist in post-project evaluation and may assist project sponsors. Provides specialized guidance to Project Analysts and works closely under the mentorship of Senior Project Managers.
What You Bring to the Table:
The successful candidate should have the ability to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research, review of technical studies such as planning, facility plans, environmental assessments, or final design, and other relevant information
- Prepare technical analyses and findings for presentation to department team, demonstrating a sufficient understanding of the project and effectively communicating concerns, risks, strengths, and weaknesses
- Assists with the development of scopes of work and management/review of contract deliverables
- Participate in calls and due-diligence site visits to gather all necessary information to conduct a comprehensive technical, environmental and social analysis and risk assessment of the proposed project. Identify issues, analyze alternatives and formulate actionable recommendations
- Contribute to the preparation of the technical, environmental and social analysis sections of certification proposals presented to internal committees for approval
- Exercise good judgement in safeguarding confidential or sensitive information with adherence to high standards of ethics and strict rules of confidentiality
- Independently performs routine tasks withing a team environment
- Supports special projects, presentations, and other duties as assigned
- Periodic traveling through the NADBank jurisdiction.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Advance degree preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field of engineering, construction management, environmental science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the field of environmental infrastructure development (water, wastewater, solid waste, air quality, and/or energy)
- Proven understanding of engineering and environmental topics
- Knowledge of planning, design, construction management, and/or the operations of utilities or other environmental infrastructure
- General knowledge of environmental laws in Mexico and the U.S. including the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) process
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and carry through multiple tasks to perform job functions in an orderly and efficient manner.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and is a team player
- Strong analytical thinking with an ability to exercise good judgment to solve difficult problems and propose effective solutions.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
The Senior Project Analyst have the option to work at the Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua office should that be their preference.
