Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining daily functions related to banking, change fund, credit cards, payroll and reconciling accounts. This role requires proficiency in bookkeeping. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records through data entry and reconciliation of accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform double-entry bookkeeping to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper is required, banking experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting standards is desirable.
- Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger management.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
