Our Functional Family Therapy for Foster Care (FFT-FC) program is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Therapist/Clinician to provide in-home family therapy to children and adolescents who are placed in NAFI’s foster care program.
FFT-FC Therapists receive high levels of clinical training and supervision to provide quality services to assist in reunification/permanency, reducing placement disruptions and working collaboratively with foster families.
Responsibilities Include:
- Meet with children in NAFI licensed foster homes located throughout RI
- Provide clinical services to children ages 0-18
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address the unique needs and strengths of each child
- Build strong, trusting relationships with foster and biological families to work toward permanency
- Conduct assessments, crisis intervention and therapy sessions with expertise
- Receive weekly FFT-FC consultation and supervision
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and effective care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services -Share in the on-call rotation

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social work or relevant field or currently enrolled in a graduate program
- A genuine passion for working in foster care
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Salary: $62,000.00 -$70,000.00 / per year (depending on education and experience)
