The Admissions Advisor is responsible for identifying and assisting prospective students in their educational journey, guiding them from inquiry through enrollment and into class start. This role requires an understanding of ThriveDXs educational service model, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with students to foster success and retention.
Essential Functions
- Develop a thorough understanding of ThriveDXs educational programs to accurately communicate with and assess potential students.
- Provide educational, professional, and personal support to students from initial inquiry through enrollment and class start.
- Conduct thoughtful and comprehensive phone and virtual meetings to evaluate students' fit and appropriateness for programs.
- Guide students through securing funding for their education.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for enrolled students, assisting with administrative and non-instructional matters.
- Monitor student readiness and conduct various operations to ensure a seamless start to any supported TDX program.
- Perform outbound calls to maintain consistent communication with prospective and enrolled students.
- Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to enrollment and student success.
- Assist in building brand awareness and promoting ThriveDX programs through digital marketing and outreach.
- A Bachelors degree or a related discipline is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in an admissions, sales, or call center environment (preferred).
- Experience cultivating relationships via phone and other communication modalities to educate, evaluate, and motivate students.
- A strong background in student engagement, recruitment, or digital marketing is a plus.
- Exceptional phone presence and the ability to build strong and impactful relationships telephonically
- Willing to meet the challenge of working in a fast-growing organization
- Can effectively manage a variety of complex initiatives.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines and projects
- Highly motivated and determined to reach target-driven goals
- Excellent command of the English language, in both written and verbal communications
- Behavioral elements such as adaptability, resilience, resourcefulness, enthusiasm, and meticulousness are highly preferred
