Job Purpose
The Admissions Operations Specialist plays a vital role in supporting prospective students through the application, admissions, and enrollment process. By ensuring data integrity, accuracy, system management, and collaboration with enrollment teams to ensure a seamless experience for prospective students.
Responsibilities
- Process evaluations, analyze student application requirements, and ensure compliance with CCE standards and academic regulations.
- Review applications to ensure accurate and efficient processing aligned with enrollment goals.
- Manage the intake of application-related documents across multiple methods (e.g., in-person, mail, email, electronic systems).
- Utilize various systems and technologies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Update and maintain student records in various systems promptly.
- Work with enrollment teams on inquiries, material requests, tracking, and reporting.
- Engage faculty, administrators, and leadership to support project efforts, workflows, and admissions communication.
- Utilize systems like Ellucian Colleague/Datatel, CRM, and Perceptive Content to align data and documentation with enrollment practices.
- Participate in systems testing, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Effectively correspond with stakeholders, including prospective students, field professionals, and partner institutions, conveying accurate university information.
- Perform data mining, cleaning, and record retention.
- Contribute to admissions decision-making and credentials evaluation.
- Demonstrate sensitivity toward diverse colleagues, faculty, and prospective students.
- Deliver outstanding service across all platforms (in-person, phone, email) to foster positive relationships with prospective students and their supporters.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Characteristics
- Familiarity with processing applications, transcript evaluation, and articulation agreements.
- Knowledge of course credit systems, accreditation agencies, and academic policies.
- Self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, and consistently meet goals and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external constituents to promote the University’s programs and mission.
- Basic knowledge of Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) standards and admissions for undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Personal alignment with the mission of promoting chiropractic education and its vitalistic philosophy.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of data processing, data entry, and systems/software experience.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in transcript evaluation, academic advising, or transfer credit evaluation.
