Berkeley College is seeking a full-time Admission Associate to work out of our Woodland Park location. The successful candidate will support the seamless functioning of the High School Admissions Department under the guidance of the Associate Vice President, High School Admissions. The responsibilities of an Admissions Associate include guiding and helping prospective students throughout the enrollment process, which includes recruiting and interviewing prospects, providing campus tours, community outreach and extensive work over the phone.
Job Responsibilities
- Create awareness to potential students
- Touring and interviewing prospective students
- Initializing and following up on student’s financial aid process
- Scheduling of entrance exam, Financial aid planning sessions, registration and orientation with students
- Responsible for student document procurement
- Develop relationships with HS, College and community personnel, parent
- Manage and update student records
- Responsible for proper reporting on outreach efforts
- Responsible for attending team meetings,
- Receptive to continuous training for product knowledge and to ensure the dissemination of updated and accurate information
- Manages a territory; contacts, visits and informs prospective high school and transfer students about Berkeley College Programs
- Must have previous customer service experience along with the ability to work in high performance standard, driven and team oriented environment.
- Must have extensive follow up skills and the ability to multitask and meet all deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be flexible to work at other locations if applicable.
- All positions require Evening and Saturday hours at times.
