Overview
The Content Development Specialist will work with the L&D Instructional Design team and EHAU's Humanitarian Leadership team to create interactive content for an IRC leadership-facing eLearning experience. The Content Development Specialist will use a variety of design and eLearning authoring tools to create content such as learning videos, learner guides, quizzes, infographics, scenarios, etc. The role will join several others working on the same project.
Responsibilities
- Review existing learning objectives, subject matter and content outlines
- Conduct additional research on subject matter if needed
- Recommend learning modalities that best meet learning objectives
- Create draft versions of learning assets which might include videos, guides, quizzes, infographics, and more
- Gather feedback on drafts
- Create final versions of learning assets based on feedback
- Provide feedback to other instructional designers working on the project
- Partner with instructional designers and Kaya admins to configure the learning experience on Kaya
Requirements:
- Instructional design experience required
- Knowledge of eLearning authoring tools required
- High attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and perform on a tight delivery timeline
