Job Title: Technical Services Representative Department: Content Development
Reports To: Manager, Content Development FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Shifts: Day/Hybrid (Minimum 1 Day on site) Wage Range: $28-$32/Hour
Job Summary:
A Technical Service Representative is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing prepress projects ensuring quality and delivery dates are met. Provides consultation, support, and technological responsiveness to internal and external customers. Performs file evaluations and modifications utilizing Adobe prepress software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interacts with and coordinates with clients, creative agencies and customer service to provide and process digital files.
- Ensures that project tracking and all relevant information is accurately entered into management information system, reviews and updates information as needed.
- Inspection and testing of the electronic files, coordinates project flow, inspection, packaging, and delivery of customer requested contract proofs.
- Conducts inspections of the work to ensure that project documentation and supplied digital files meet Nahan file processing requirements; provides project briefings and updates.
- Provides technical guidance to both internal and external customers specific to Nahan file processing specifications.
- Follow all Nahan safety and quality standards.
- Work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of color theories, regulations, & best practices of prepress systems; digital file specification preparation & management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong Computer skills in both a Mac & PC environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of prepress technologies- Adobe (2024), Kodak Pinergy (10), &/or similar software.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
- Excellent time management skills and organizational skills.
- Proficiency/fluent with English language, both written and verbal.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Associates degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or Graphic Arts Technology, two years of field-related experience or a combination of education, training and practical experience, required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Imposition or Prepress roles, preferably in a direct mail or commercial print environment, preferred.

This job operates in a remote/hybrid office environment with exposure to a Manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job inside and outside the manufacturing facility/office setting, the employee is frequently exposed to normal to moderate working conditions for a remote/hybrid office and manufacturing facility with a noise level that is usually quiet - moderate with minimal to some interruptions. The role routinely uses office equipment, software and hardware.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, type, write and be exposed to regular meetings, both virtually and in person. The employee may be required to stand/sit for long periods of time as well as use hands or fingers to reach or handle, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is sometimes required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee will regularly lift 25lbs or more at a time. All vision abilities are required to encompass close-up work. Employees must be able to tolerate and endure extended seasonal hours and maintain alertness to meet deadlines.
Occasionally while performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to machinery and moving parts, airborne particles including paper dust and hazardous materials or fumes, which may require the use of PPE. The employee may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, extended seasonal hours, high precarious places, and confined spaces. The noise level in some of the work environments may require the use of hearing protection.
