Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Contracts & Acquisition Management Analyst (Veterans Encouraged to Apply) to join our team of talented consultants providing professional services to the senior leadership of NAVSEA 04 Industrial Operations. This individual will be part of a large, dynamic team supporting NAVSEA 04’s mission of getting ships to sea and keeping them ready. Specifically, this individual will support the management and analysis of contracts and acquisition schedules.

The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System, specifically shipbuilding contracts and scheduling. The ideal candidate can write at the executive level, has great attention to detail, and is skilled in using the Microsoft Office 365 tool set.
Education and Experience: The following are desirable levels of experience:
Location: Washington Navy Yard, D.C. three (3) days per week onsite.
Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a government-issued CAC and possess a Secret clearance.

- Support development and management of an integrated acquisition strategy. Coordinate SEA 04 program acquisition documentation IAW DoDI 5000 guidance.
- Develop decision briefs and point papers in support of senior level decisions related to the acquisition and execution of SEA 04 programs .
- Manage the SEA 04 program wide Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), integrating all program and shipyard execution activities.
- Monitor and report on schedule management performance across the program. Support schedule-focused meetings with internal and external stakeholders and as required, conduct what-if analysis and develop/recommend course of action.
- Assist in the development of the Acquisition Plans and other procurement justifications and approval documentation.
- Support the development, interpretation, and implementation of programmatic strategy, policy, and plans to support overall program acquisition execution.
The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System, specifically shipbuilding contracts and scheduling. The ideal candidate can write at the executive level, has great attention to detail, and is skilled in using the Microsoft Office 365 tool set.
Education and Experience: The following are desirable levels of experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial discipline required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the Defense Acquisition System, program management, or business management.
- Contracts pre- and post-award experience
- Procurement Requests (PR) package development experience
- Contract modification (electronic Purchase Request (ePR)) experience
- Ability to monitor and track contractual obligations and deliverables
- Familiarity with SPS, SeaPort, PIEE and CPARs experience

Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
