This Data Analyst position is part of a team that supports the USINDOPACOM Alpha contract. The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic environment, has strong analytical skills, and has experience supporting senior-level officials. This position requires a candidate who can analyze, synthesize, and transform complex data into digestible and informative visuals and recommendations. A self-starter, capable of seamless work as an individual or in a team environment will be most successful in this role.

- Develop dashboards that visualize the agency’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assess both operational and transformational performance.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define functional and technical requirements for Minimum Viable Product (MVP) dashboards, including software/tool selection.
- Utilize Power BI or Tableau to build MVP dashboards, to include development of wire frames and key metrics and gathering of stakeholder feedback.
- Lead dashboard roll-out, testing, and integration into pre-existing government systems. Receive and incorporate feedback on how the dashboard is utilized.
- Transform data sets through quantitative and qualitative analysis into insights and compelling visuals that help inform decision making.
- Interpret results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining.
- Discover, validate, and prepare data sources and engage relevant data owners in requirements definition process. Develop solutions for filling in data gaps.
- Apply sound strategies for obtaining quality data from different sources, integrating, and developing actionable information to support quantitative analysis.
- Present data-driven insights and address questions from a non-technical audience.
- Effectively partner with a cross-contractor team while receiving input from a non-technical client.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile and identify gaps, uncover unmet business needs, and work with others to create a finished solution.
- Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and data management.
- Strong background in and 3 years of experience in Qlik, Tableau and/or Power BI.
- Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Teams.
- Comfortable working with senior leaders and demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills are a must.
- Ability to work in a team and as an individual contributor.
- Demonstrated experience compiling, organizing, and cleaning data for input into dashboards or business intelligence tools.
- Experience with SharePoint content management and programming languages, such as Python, SQL, and R, is preferred.
- 3 years of experience with data analytics tools such as Qlik, Tableau and/or Power BI
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree required

Salary : $100,000 - $170,000
