Overview
Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to support a team within the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) client. This individual will manage a contract team to provide exceptional service delivery to OSD Leadership. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with experience managing a team.
Responsibilities

Manage and support a project team across multiple client offices
- Provide project management and communications support on contract, including at Pentagon and Mark Center locations, as needed. Tasks may include but are not limited to drafting and compiling Staffing Reports, Monthly Status Reports and Project Status Review briefs; drafting and reviewing client deliverables; developing presentations
- Oversee contract deliverables and compliance
- Coach and mentor team members. Be accountable for employee engagement. Manage personnel actions, including recruiting and hiring process as well as performance plans
- Manage corporate project updates and burn plans
- Collaborate with Executives, Senior Managers, Project Managers, and Shared Services, including the Program Management Office, to promote and facilitate high quality service delivery
- Serve as single point of contact for contract. Engage with high-level clients and COR to obtain performance feedback on a regular basis
- Strive to continuously improve processes and service delivery
Qualifications
Skills / Qualifications : The ideal candidate possesses expertise and experience in the business development cycle. Specifically, the ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities :
Education and Experience : This position requires at least five years of relevant experience. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. PMP certification is preferred.
Location : This position reports to the Pentagon and / or Mark Center 5 days per week.
Clearance Requirements : Secret clearance is required. Must be a US Citizen.
