Position : Nuclear Engineer (Scientific Support)
LCAT : Mid
Location : Reston, VA; DCP 3
Clearance : TS / SCI and CI poly required
Desired experience : At least 8 years of experience relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Desired Education : Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category
Qualifications :
Supports defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific / engineering research, and reverse engineering analysis / characterizations.
Supports defense analytical requirements with facility and vulnerability assessments on foreign nuclear capabilities.
This includes, but not limited to :
- Nuclear engineering
- Thermo-hydraulics
- Seismic / earthquake
- Physics
- Computational science
- Fission reactor engineering.
