Nalley Consulting is filling the following position contingent on award:
Special Security Technician
LCAT: Mid and Senior
Location: CENTCOM HQ, Tampa, FL
Required clearance: TS/SCI with CI poly
Desired Experience: At least 8 years for Mid level; at least 12 years for Senior level
Desired Education: Bachelor's degree for Mid positions; master’s degree or an additional 5 years of related experience for Senior positions.
Description
Assists the Special Security Officer (SSO) to ensure control of access to SCI and SCI facilities (SCIFs); certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances / accesses; conducts SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, training on classified material / SSO-related material and topics; obtains signed nondisclosure agreements; and provides guidance and assistance for processing SCI position and eligibility requests for assigned military, Government and contractor personnel.
Other duties may include, but not limited to audits of classified material; inspections of classified material storage facilities / SCIFs / containers; and, researching and preparing classified material-related policy and management recommendations, reports and recommendations.
The contractor shall safeguard access control to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and SCIFs by providing security escort support for custodial and uncleared workers in USCENTCOM J2 Top Secret (TS)/SCI offices and facilities.
For Building 565 custodial escort support, the number of uncleared workers to be escorted from 0600 - 1400 (1st shift) averages 10 people per shift, with a requirement to support the simultaneous escorting of uncleared workers in three different locations/floors to ensure no security violations. The number of uncleared workers to be escorted from 1400-2200 (2nd shift) averages 6 people per shift.
In addition, the contractor shall provide Facility Monitor Special Security Technician support to identify and report on any facility system malfunctions or issues.

- The contractor may also be required to serve as an escort for uncleared workers as required. The hours for this requirement are Monday - Friday from 2200-0600 (third shift) and from 0600 on Saturday through 0600 on Monday.
- The contractor shall complete a Facility Inspection Checklist and submit a Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) inspection report email to leadership upon completion of every shift.
