POSITION OVERVIEW
The Engagement Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external engagement events that foster connections with key stakeholders and audiences. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to uphold military traditions and protocol while supporting communication and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in event management, logistics, and stakeholder engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Engagement Support
Plan, organize, and execute approximately 15-30 engagement events annually, fostering connections with internal and external audiences.Support engagements involving senior leaders, such as the Commandant of the Marine Corps, Secretary of the Navy, international dignitaries, Congress members, local officials, industry leaders, and other stakeholders.Event Planning and Coordination
Assist in developing visit agendas, sequences of events, taskers, and letters of instruction for distinguished guests and dignitaries.Coordinate and execute a variety of events, including command anniversaries, community engagements, and visits from influential individuals.Communication and Marketing Outreach
Support internal and external communication and marketing activities to enhance the visibility and impact of events.Communicate conference and meeting results to internal and external audiences at all levels.Logistics and Protocol Support
Provide logistical support for events, including transportation coordination, multimedia, visual information, and day-of preparation.Assist the Protocol Officer in ensuring all events adhere to military traditions and protocol standards.Exhibit Management
Manage the setup and breakdown of exhibits and associated materials, such as panels, backdrops, displays, tables, computers, and mannequins, to ensure event readiness.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, event management, or a related field.Secret Clearance required.Proven experience in event planning, stakeholder engagement, or protocol support, preferably in a military or government setting.Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple events and projects simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse audiences.Familiarity with military traditions, protocol, and event requirements is preferred.Ability to manage logistical elements, including transportation, multimedia, and exhibit setup.Nalu Federal is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
