What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Manager position at Nalu Health Bar & Cafe?
We're a health bar & cafe with 4 locations in Oahu. We serve fresh, made-to-order sandwiches, salads, wraps, juices, smoothies, acai bowls espressos etc.. We strive to use local, organic, and high quality ingredients as much as possible. We truly care about the food we serve, as well as building relationships with our customers. We're open daily 9a-6p. We're closed on major holidays like Christmas Day, New Years Day, and Thanksgiving.
We’re now seeking an entry-level manager for our Kailua location! Must be a people-person and have a passion for hospitality! This position is responsible for overseeing our cafe's operations, guiding our employee's performance and maintaining a positive environment. It's a hands-on job, where most of the job is done while working the floor. You should expect to work about 4 days on the floor, 1 day for your manager duties, and 2 days off. Schedule may vary as needed.

Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years in the restaurant industry
Must live in Oahu and have reliable transportation
Ability to lead and empower a team of 15 people
Capability of maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced environment
Ability to delivery outstanding customer service to every customer
Be able to solve problems at the spot
Be able to lift heavy objects and to stand for up to 10 hrs a day
Be available to work weekends and some holidays (schedule can be flexible)
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail

Duties
Work FOH and BOH
Recruit, train, coach and terminate employees
Make weekly schedules for FOH and BOH
Lead employee meetings
Daily inventories, place orders and communication with vendors
Pick up and deliver food and/or supplies to the restaurant about 2x week
Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and apply knowledge of all policies, procedures and practices
Maintain a positive work environment
Solve problems and take care of customers and employees concerns
Build positive relationship with customers and employees
