Job Description :
- Snowflake - Data Engineer
- The developer should have 7 years of experience in ETL / ELT projects
- The developer should have 3 years for experience with Snowflake concepts like Snow SQL, Snowflake Procedures, Snow Pipe etc.
- Experience in working with flat files like Fixed Width, Delimited, JSON and XML.
- The developer should have a strong grasp of SQL, as Snowflake uses this language for database queries. They should be able to write complex queries and optimize them for performance
- The developer should be able to test the code and promote to higher env via GIT repos
- Good to have : Working experience on Airflow DAGs to schedule ETL orchestration tasks
Job responsibilities :
Hands-on experience in Snow SQL queries Writing against Snowflake Developing scripts Unix / Linux, Python, etc. to do Extract, Load, and Transform data
In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse / ODS, ETL concept and modeling structure principles
Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling.
