Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator to join our team. This is an entry-level role that will assist with a variety of human resource functions, including insurance updates, payroll processing, and maintaining spreadsheets related to insurance coverage. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and a desire to grow within the HR field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing various insurance policies, including General Liability (GL), Property Liability (PL), Flood, Vehicle, and Workers' Compensation, etc.
- Update and maintain accurate insurance-related spreadsheets and ensure records are current.
- Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring all data is accurately entered and submitted on time.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer employee inquiries related to payroll.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Assist in responding to employee, vendor or tenant inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and insurance.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and scheduling.
- Support the HR team with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll processing.
- Basic understanding of insurance types and HR-related tasks.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to manage spreadsheets.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with payroll and insurance regulations.
- Experience working in an HR or administrative capacity.
