Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator to join our team. This is an entry-level role that will assist with a variety of human resource functions, including insurance updates, payroll processing, and maintaining spreadsheets related to insurance coverage. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and a desire to grow within the HR field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing various insurance policies, including General Liability (GL), Property Liability (PL), Flood, Vehicle, and Workers' Compensation, etc.
  • Update and maintain accurate insurance-related spreadsheets and ensure records are current.
  • Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring all data is accurately entered and submitted on time.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer employee inquiries related to payroll.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in responding to employee, vendor or tenant inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and insurance.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and scheduling.
  • Support the HR team with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll processing.
  • Basic understanding of insurance types and HR-related tasks.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to manage spreadsheets.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with payroll and insurance regulations.
  • Experience working in an HR or administrative capacity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
