Seasonal Digital Print Production Operator
Department: Operations
Reports to: VP of Operations and Production Supervisor
Job Description
Assist in printing, production, quality control checking, and shipping of personalized name labels.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
o Operate large format printers, laminators, and cutters.
o Inspect orders for accuracy and quality.
o Sort, label, package and process shipments for delivery.
o Organize and maintain a clean work area.
o Take direction from VP of Operations / Production Supervisor.
o Adhere to all safety procedures.
Minimum requirements
o Temporary employment opportunity (April through mid-September).
o Maximum of 30 hours available per week.
o On-going flexibility to satisfy customer needs in a busy, fast-paced production environment.
o Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Print Production experience are pluses.
o Standard proficiency with computers, printers, and basic software programs.
o Competent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Positive attitude and high energy.
o Outstanding team player and quick learner.
o Demonstrated ability to support the Company’s core values, goals and objectives.
o May need to lift materials weighing upwards of 40 pounds.
o Specific daily roles require standing for several hours at a time.
o Reliable form of transportation to ensure punctuality.
Shifts
o Shifts can vary, most common are: 8am – 2pm, 9am – 3pm, 11am – 5pm, and 3 – 9pm.
o Ideal candidates should be willing and able to accept any of the above shifts.
o Six-week vacation blackout in effect from last week of July – first week of September
