What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of The Mental Health Navigation Line position at NAMI Charlotte?
Position Summary:
The Director of The Mental Health Navigation Line is a full-time position with responsibility for development and execution of a navigation line, a new service being introduced by NAM Charlotte.
Director will be involved in the initial planning and execution of this startup service as well as working with staff to create programs and processes to ensure the long-term efficiency and viability of this new service
Primary Responsibilities:
Working with the executive director and board of directors help lead the planning and implementation of this new service, including budget management, project schedule oversight, and plan for data collection
Plan and develop a volunteer training and recruitment program for volunteers who will staff the phone lines and online chat
Develop and manage scheduling model for volunteers
Manage and support daily case management work of volunteer team
Working from HereForTexas.org, continue to enhance and expand the database of mental health providers to include North Carolina
Plan, develop and implement performance metrics and reporting for this new program
Work with communications committee to build awareness of service and connect with schools, mental health nonprofits, and other community organizations
Skills and Experience:
Master’s degree in a helping profession (Counseling, Social Work, etc.) preferred
Licensed or certified to independently practice at the Master’s Degree level
Commitment to agency vision, core values and mission
Ability to manage projects from start to finish, establish priorities, meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities
Strong organizational skills
Experience working with and managing volunteers a plus
Superior skills in written and verbal communications
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Knowledge of case management software programs a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with staff, donors and volunteers
Detail-oriented, thorough and accurate in all work
High degree of initiative with ability to complete tasks with minimal direction while maintaining ethical standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
