Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and alcohol regulations while handling food and beverages.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately; perform basic math calculations for tabs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and tab calculations are essential.
- A background in hospitality or sales can enhance your candidacy for this role.
