SUMMARY: To ensure and support the timely delivery of all interoffice mail and support in the completion of maintenance projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily mail run to all schools and office within the district
- Assist in monitoring supply inventory on an ongoing basis, monitoring stock levels and preparing orders as needed.
- Responsible for preparing year-end count of all supplies for annual audit.
- Responsible for pulling requested school supplies daily for shipment to schools.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing of the warehouse
- Assist in the repair and/or installation of various items, systems and/or components as may be required for the purpose of ensuring that items are available and in safe working condition; which involves assisting with work in general maintenance at any building or structure.
- Assist other maintenance personnel for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities when approved by the Manager.
- Respond to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
- Operate all maintenance equipment in a safe and lawful manner.
- Ensure that all federal and state law, administrative rules, and school district policy pertaining to plant maintenance and operation, fire, safety, and the environment are followed
- Comply with all federal and state law, administrative rules, and school district policy pertaining to the storage and disposal of recyclables, trash, waste, and debris
- Assume responsibility for his or her continuing professional growth and development through such efforts as attendance at trainings
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of activities and any issues that may arise
- Represent the school district in a positive manner
- Know and follow school district policy and chain of command
- Perform other duties as assigned

- High school diploma/GED, preferred
- Three to five years of related experience strongly preferred, or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
