POSITION: Migrant Summer School Administrator
DEPARTMENT: Certified Teacher

REPORTS TO: Director of Federal Programs
PURPOSE: The purpose of the Migrant Summer School Program is to afford students the opportunity to enhance their academics, social and community exposure through hands on exposure, community experiences and motivational learning in order to meet the state’s standards in reading, writing and math.

Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns.
PRODUCTIVITY/EFFICIENCY SKILLS: Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary; organize job functions and work area to be able to effectively complete varied assignments within established time frame.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to conduct basic math functions, as well as manipulate formulas in spreadsheets.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Other Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing (Microsoft Office), spreadsheets (Excel), database (Access), presentation software and accounting/financial software.

- Is aware of the details and undercurrents in the running of the school and uses this information to address current and potential problems.
- Has quality contact and interactions with teachers and students.
- Performs additional responsibilities set forth by supervising administration.

Education And/Or Experience
- Valid Idaho administrative license
- ESL/ENL endorsed preferred
- Experience in managing/supervising complex educational programs.
- Experience with Migrant/LEP students preferred
- Bilingual/Bicultural, Spanish Language Strongly preferred
