Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential to create a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods and communicate wait times effectively to guests.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant’s offerings and making reservations as needed.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Address guest concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
