Mechanic Maintenance Technician

Must complete an Employment Application in Person Wage: $17.00 - $19.00 Based on experience Full Time Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plant equipment Learn all aspects of the plant and associated equipment including the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting Install new equipment and projects Test new equipment and improvement projects Train fellow maintenance department technicians Interpret and understand mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings Clean mechanical shop and associated areas Complete daily equipment reports, work orders and log book data entry Provide own hand tools to make repairs Instruct production personnel in correct equipment operation Train production personnel to correctly perform daily TPM line checks Work overtime to complete emergency, schedules or afternoon repairs Must be able to work rotating shift Must be able to be contacted by the plant during non-scheduled work hours Must follow all safety policies and procedures Qualification: Technical School graduate in the mechanical field with 3 years of industrial experience OR 5 years industrial mechanical work experience with at least 6 months being in a rigid film PVC manufacturing facility Nan Ya Plastics Corporation USA is an equal employment opportunity employer Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 12 hour shift Work Location: In person
