Job Description
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in electrical projects of industrial buildings and grounds. Responsible for overseeing the work and interacting with site foremen to ensure a smoothly run job site throughout the work day. This is a working Foreman that will be required to activiley complete journeyman electrical responsibilities in addition to acting as a Foreman.
Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical project activities at Red Dog Mine.
- Responsible for site organization, project delivery, execution, and team accountability.
- Reports on employee performance, working conditions and productivity to NANA Construction leadership.
- Ensures safety equipment is available and maintains safe working conditions on the job site.
- Monitors and trains employees to ensure they are compliant with both federal safety mandates and safety regulations established by the company or organization. Verifies workers are using provided safety gear.
- Inspects the job sites to identify and correct possible safety hazards.
- Responsible for maintaining quality of work produced by employees.
- This position has supervisory responsibilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Journeyman's license in the state of Alaska or reciprocal state.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience as an Electrical General Foreman or directly related role required.
- Previous remote site experience required.
- Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy.
