What we are looking for in a Family Therapist:
Seeking a family therapist to provide family therapy to adolescent clients, and their families, in a residential mental health facility. This position would include providing therapeutic services, potentially including group therapy, to clients, ages 11-17, who are currently receiving residential treatment for behavioral health including but not limited to self-harm, aggression, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, trauma, mood instability, depression, and anxiety. The Family Therapist would also be highly integral in the development and facilitation of a monthly Family Weekend, in which clinical and experiential programming would be provided to the clients and their families to improve/address familial disruptions. Candidates would thrive in this position if they have the skills to work with acute clients and their families for three to six months, are able to creatively approach family therapy, try multiple interventions to help their clients, and are looking for a position that will allow them to grow and be challenged.
LMFT preferred, will accept LMSW, LAPC, LCSW, LPC
