The Revenue Cycle Support Specialist will be responsible for handling the day-to-day administrative tasks in relation to the revenue cycle. This is a muti-tasking position responsible for ensuring all daily work is completed and worked accordingly.

Education:
- High School Diploma/GED – BS degree preferred.
- Current (five-years) of no felonies or substance abuse convictions.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment, and be able to effectively manage multiple work processes simultaneously.
- 3 years of relevant experience in medical collections, AR follow-up, denials & appeals, payment posting, or professional billing
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments and work collaboratively with team members.
Responsibilities:
- Review and assess adjudicated claims for timely and proper payment of outstanding balances.
- Verify validity of account balance by researching, reviewing and ensuring accuracy of payment and adjustment posting
- Contacting insurance companies to determine claims status
- Identify specific reasons for underpayments, denials, and delays in payment, and collaborate with management to address systemic issues.
- Monitor trends in denials and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management.
