Responsibilities
Acts as a Receiving clerk and processes incoming mail and packages.
Prepares and processes all outgoing mail and packages.
Processes Merchant Mariner credentialing applications.
Produces Merchant Mariner credentials and medical certificates.
Creates and manages official Merchant Mariner records (electronic and paper based).
Records storage / upkeep.
Prepares Mariner records for archiving, correspondence and documentation.
Completes data entry - related to the credentialing process.
Qualifications
Current Public Trust is preferred but not required to apply.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year business / office experience.
Must be familiar with performing Quality Control (QC) verification.
Familiarity with Microsoft Access a plus.
