Responsibilities
Develops, implements, and maintains websites, web applications, and application databasesEnsures all code is properly structured, adheres to industry standards, and is compatible with various browsers and devicesOptimizes website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processesIntegrates websites with other computer applications and develop website infrastructureDesigns user-friendly interfaces, navigation menus, and digital layouts that ensure compatibility and usability across different browsers and devicesUtilizes web frameworks and client-side coding to enhance user experienceThis position has potential for hybrid flexibility once integrated with team and processesQualifications
Must be a US Citizen with a Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one prior to start)A.S. or B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, specializing in Web Design and Development or Software EngineeringMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in web development, with programming languages such as : React, JavaScript, Typescript, SQL, and CSSProficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, with a deep understanding of HTTP protocols, request / response cycles, and best practices for secure and efficient API developmentExperience in managing web servers, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting in environments like Nginx, Apache, or cloud-based servicesSolid understanding of database management systems (SQL), including schema design, query optimization, and data migration strategies as well as knowledge of Object Relational Mappers (ORM)Proven experience in writing, updating, and maintaining efficient, testable, and well-documented codeStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a penchant for teamworkThis Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Orlando, FL.Desired Qualifications :
Active Secret clearanceDemonstrated project-based experience in Python, with a focus on developing backend services, automating tasks, or building data-driven applications, including hands-on work with popular frameworks like Django or FlaskExperience with Dash, Plotly, or SQLAlchemy#CJP-1234
