Job Description
Performs safety and health duties at active Kuna work sites to evaluate and control environmental hazards by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Monitors operations to ensure adherence to safety programs.
- Trains employees on safety and health requirements to ensure compliance with regulations when necessary.
- Develops and forwards reports of incidents to customers and upper management.
- Identifies potential causes for accidents and recommends changes in policies and procedures to prevent accidents and illness.
- Immediately report all Incidents/Accidents, no matter how small, to their Supervisor.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit’s success also may be assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years relatable experience.
- Intermediate skillset with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Previous experience in the construction industry required.
- Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Weather: Indoors/Outdoors – Frequent exposure to moderate to harsh weather conditions. Requires work to be done both inside and outside.
Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Description of environment: Frequently required to be outside at construction/project sites. Also occasionally inside in standard office setting.
Physical requirements: Employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.
Travel: Travel required up to 50% of the time. Employee will travel to remote areas and may be required to use alternative modes of transportation, including but not limited to snow machines, boats, small airplanes and ATVs.
