Job Summary
Nana Regional Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Instructor Operator to join our team. As a Flight Instructor Operator, you will be responsible for training personnel in the skills necessary to be an effective Unit Instructor Operator and train and evaluate Instructor Operators on the Gray Eagle Qualification Course.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training procedures for takeoff, landing, and tactical employment of the Gray Eagle UAS.
- Teach fundamentals and application of Air Crew Coordination and capabilities, emergency procedures, limitations, and system logic of the Gray Eagle UAS System and its payloads.
- Conduct Gray Eagle UAS Missions with emphasis on route, zone, and area reconnaissance; aerial surveillance; security operations; and employment of the Gray Eagle UAS in attack missions.
- Develop and approve Mission Plans, including METTTC analysis, Risk Assessment, and Performance Planning.
- Teach concepts and application of Army reporting formats, including SALUTE, SALTW, and BDA reports, as well as familiarity with National Airspace restricted areas and Class D airspace and ATC phraseology.
- Configure system radios for flight operations and communications relay and apply map reading techniques for UAS Operations.
Qualifications:
- Qualification in Gray Eagle MQ-1C UAS.
- At least four years' operational flying experience within the last five years.
- 200 hours on the Gray Eagle.
- 20 hours as an aircraft Commander (AC) or 20 hours of IO for AC designation.
- 24 Months instructor experience within the last five years and a minimum of 700 collective Instructor Operator flight hours.
