Overview

RSAs follow established procedures and generally work under the supervision of Customer Service Reps, Supervisors, or Ramp Managers.
The hours for this part-time position are 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM, up to five days per week.

Responsibilities
- Marshall aircraft on the ramp, including directing, assisting, and parking arriving, departing, and towed aircraft.
- Service aircraft as needed, including cabin cleaning and other required services.
- Perform aircraft de-icing/anti-icing.
- Shuttle crew members.
- Load and unload aircraft baggage and cargo.
- Operate all ground service equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the safety and security of aircraft.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work in inclement weather.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds comfortably.
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and a team player.
- Required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
- Successfully complete a background investigation, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history, and pre-employment drug test.
- Prior Ramp Service experience.
- De-icing service experience.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively one-on-one and before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Occasionally lift or move (with assistance) up to 100 pounds.
- Frequently lift or move 60 pounds.
- Regularly required to use hands, talk, hear, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, stand, and walk.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
- Routinely work outside and are exposed to all types of weather conditions.
- The noise level is usually moderate but can vary depending on location and time of day.
- Use of provided hearing protection or acceptable alternatives is required.
