Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and patient comfort.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring all items are sterilized according to aseptic techniques.
- Take X-rays as needed.
- Manage patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry principles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Dentrix, is a plus.
- Proficient in taking X-rays.
- Understanding of aseptic technique practices to maintain a sterile environment.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
