Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are hygienic and welcoming. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Section 8 applicates welcome.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean windows and surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
• Report safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Hard hats, Safety vest, and Steel toe boots are a must.
• Must be able to Travel to and from Decatur, TX / Lavon, TX / Sherman, TX

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Good communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
• Able to climb multiple flights of stairs and work on ladders safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
