Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide excellent care to our residents. Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Assist in transporting patients within the facility as needed.
- Support nursing staff with basic medical tasks as directed.
- Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Certification or training related to personal care assistance is beneficial but not mandatory.
