Position: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical controls, circuits, as well as mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Demonstrating knowledge of AC and DC electrical theory and understanding 3-phase motor control circuits (experience preferred but not required).
- Working with Allen Bradley PLCs, remote sensor interfaces, HMIs, VFDs, and other automated control systems, including troubleshooting.
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and facility equipment.
- Conducting preventive maintenance on production, processing, and plant equipment.
- Following instructions and working independently when necessary.
- Operating forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
- Completing all required documentation accurately.
- Being adaptable to scheduled and unscheduled overtime and shifts.
- Ensuring safe operation of equipment, adhering to GMP guidelines, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Participating in team meetings, providing training to colleagues, and covering other roles as needed.
- Supporting a culture of safety by adhering to safety procedures, operating equipment safely, and reporting any unsafe conditions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Certificate or Associate Degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have personal hand tools required for job duties.
- Salary will be based on experience.
